Sarah is has over 10 years experience providing therapy for children, youth, families and groups.
Sarah has a Masters Degree from the University of Guelph in Family Relations and Human Development. Sarah specializes in working with children and youth between the ages of 7 and 18 who are experiencing challenges in the areas of Emotion Regulation; Specifically, children, youth and their families who struggle with managing feelings (and the challenging behaviours that go with them!) of anxiety, worry, sadness and frustration.
Sarah also has extensive experience working with children and youth who are diagnosed with Learning Disabilities, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder and Anxiety Disorders. Sarah believes it is equally important to work with the parents as it is to work with the children and youth.
Sarah can provide Individual Therapy, Parent Coaching and Family Therapy. She has experience and training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness informed practice, Narrative Therapy, Collaborative Problem Solving and the Positive Parenting Program (Triple P).
